The Commission has the authority to issue Notices of Violations (NOVs), Closure Orders (COs), Civil Fine Assessments (CFAs), and enter into Settlement Agreements (SAs) with members of the regulated industry for violations relating to the IGRA and its implementing regulations. Subject to such regulations as may be prescribed by the Commission, the Chairman shall have authority to levy and collect appropriate civil fines, not to exceed $25,000 per violation, against the tribal operator of an Indian game or a management contractor engaged in gaming for any violation of any provision of this Act, 25 U.S.C. § 2713(1).
