Information Technology (IT) is the backbone of gaming operations that connects and provides data to all parts of an organization. Within IT, virtual and personnel resources are consistently attacked. To help defend those resources, this session will introduce easy to understand cybersecurity practices with the aim of improving security awareness, promoting vigilance, and educating all personnel before an intrusion occurs. Through review of common attacks, including phishing and social engineering, covered topics will arm attendees with knowledge to avoid becoming the next victim while maintaining strong IT regulatory controls.
