All federal agencies are required to prepare Annual FOIA Reports each fiscal year that includes detailed statistics on the number and disposition of FOIA requests and appeals received, processed, and pending at each agency. These Annual FOIA Reports are required to be submitted to the Attorney General no later than February 1 of each year. See Title 5 U.S.C. § 552(e)(1).
