Course Description:
Regulators, Auditors, Managers! Join us for an interactive course led by the NIGC Audit Program that will help strengthen your knowledge and skillset. We will guide you through the updated standards found at 25 C.F.R. 571.12(f) that became effective October 21, 2022 for tribal or charitable gaming operation with gross gaming revenues of less than $50,000 during the prior fiscal year. Attendees will learn, develop, and practice applying the standards to eligible operations within their jurisdiction. Attendees will learn what submissions must be made to NIGC and the timelines that apply. Sample documents and procedures will be discussed and used to increase the attendees understanding of the standard. This course is intended for tribal regulators, internal auditors, and persons responsible for gaming operation financial records, management, or submission of the gaming operations annual audited financial statements.
