Title: Compliance Roles and Responsibilities: A Pathway to Compliance with IGRA Requirements

Description: This session will highlight the NIGC’s Bulletin No. 2022-5 Independence of Tribal Gaming Commissions and their functions, with focus on responsibilities of a tribal gaming regulatory authority. Learners will rely on critical thinking skills as we explore some of IGRA’s broader categories of Tribe and Tribal gaming regulatory responsibilities. Instructors will lead participants through a series of questions, focused on locating authority and resources, that will aid in finding a “Pathway to Compliance”.
